Unknown is not a soft outage claim. It means this page lacks time-bounded evidence and therefore cannot distinguish reachable, restarting, blocked, or unavailable.
Method legend / freshness first
What any published reading must carry.
Green without an observation time is decoration. This method treats freshness as part of the value.
A bounded measurement records reachability and the endpoint’s reported version without inferring gameplay health.
The page names when the observation happened and when its validity ends.
Once the window closes, the reading disappears. Cached success does not outlive its evidence.

Check from where you are.
- Add the declared address.
Use the connection route and keep the exact client response.
- Read the server-list ping narrowly.
A response shows reachability from your client at that moment. It does not prove login, gameplay, or dependency health.
- Attempt a join if appropriate.
Compare the failure message with the connection closure key before reporting it.
Telemetry boundary
This reference publishes no player list, coordinates, or per-player activity. Reachability does not require player surveillance.
